I like watching horror movies with my best cousins and my GF for the reason that it’s FUN watching with them. I can take horror movies which feature spirits or ghosts that after watching it I can still scare the heck out of my cousins. What I can not joke around after watching are movies with a “possession of a demonic entity” plot.
When there are scenes where the cast will play the Ouija Board and will chant Latin incantations I usually minimize the volume or, if okay with my movie buddies, I will completely put that scene on mute. I don’t understand Latin; God knows what the cast is (really) saying. I also believe that Latin is the “widely-used” language by things that we can not see and will never understand. So I better be on the safe side. Heh ;)
I think the living can still help lost spirits/souls to “crossover” and move on but to help a demon? I think that will be a different challenge.
I respect the fact that not everyone believes in life-after-death, spirits and demons but to respect what we can not see, feel nor hear won’t hurt us.
